A Smuggler’s Palace
I vaguely recall doing a post like this on tumblr ages ago. There are two things I burn credits in Star Wars: The Old Republic. One thing are armor and design slots. The other thing are strongholds. At the moment I have Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Manaan and the Umbaran Train, all 100% decorated. My two favorites at the moment are my Smuggler Palace on Nar Shaddaa, home of the Harlang twins Saskaia and Dravean. The other one is Manaan. I wanted this one for so long, I still can’t believe that I finally got it. But this one is for another day. Today I want to show you the Smuggler Palaca aka Marketplace Cantina. It is publicy listed under “Saskaia’s Marketplace Cantina” when I’m online, in case you want to have a look at it yourself.
The entrance is home to Dravean’s favorite speeders, a vendor stall were various Jawa’s made camp in the past (and won’t leave), a Galactic Trade Market terminal and access to guild, legacy and private cargo bays. All guarded by HK-51, HK-55 and ZO-OM. Though the latter would invite thieves to have tea with her if it weren’t for HK to keep an eye on her. She’s way too friendly to be an efficient guard. But Sassy has a softspot for her and so she stays.
Inside you are welcomed by C2-N2, Sassy’s faithful protocol droid who will see to all your needs. Just try not to overwhelm him with praise. His joy circuits tend to overload pretty quickly.
On the left are the private quarters of the Republic’s greatest outlaw hero and her brother. Don’t listen to Hylo.
This is Sassy’s private oasis to which very few people have access.
Next to it is Dravean’s bachelor cave. And yes. He repairs his speeder where he sleeps.
Armory and Medbay
Left from C2 are the armory and the medbay.
Most of the armory is occupied by Dravean’s droid workbench. Jorgan is in charge of the weapons while Yuun overseas improvements to existing armor.
The med bay includes not only the newest tech from Zakuul to keep Sassy, Dra and their team in fit fighting shape, but also an Appearance Modification station, in case… someone has to… change their looks. Just for haircuts. Or healing scars. Not a single individual was given a complete overhaul on this moon. Promise.
A Smuggler with her own Palace needs a throne room, right? And she got one. Pretty cozy and her top advisors always at her side. Yes, I count the monkey-lizard among them. Why are you asking?
The stairways contain a collection of some of Saskaia’s spoils, provided with the newest Zakuulan anti-theft technique, so don’t try anying. There’s a Sarlacc beneath the stairs.
The centerpiece of the balcony is the luxury spa, surounded by exibits of conquered worlds and destroyed space stations.
Welcome to the cantina, where alcoholic beverages and credits flow like nowhere else. Beware Gault. Don’t let him drag you into a game of Sabacc.
The vestibule connects the cantina to the lounge. That’s it.
With Vette as your host you can relax at the lounge, watch trophies of Saskaia’s successes, until you get back to the cantina with a full stomach for the next round of drinks. Theron hates this place. Not sure why…
And last but not least the parking deck for the Tenacity, Sassy’s old, charming freighter.
Hope you liked the little tour. Want to see more of my SHs? Leave me a comment and tell me, which one. I have all except Yavin and I’m not planning on getting it anytime soon.
